Our brief
Engaged by Rio Tinto and Mondium (EPC), Inteforge was awarded the scope of work to provide design input, shop detailing, procurement, and fabrication of structural steel, platework and transport services to the EPC contractor.
The solution
Showcasing Inteforge’s integrated, end-to-end delivery approach, we worked with the engineer and constructor to increase preassembly rates to 75% of steelwork, generating construction efficiencies and reducing safety risks on site. The project also demonstrated Inteforge’s ability to manage the integrated delivery of both local and offshore scopes to optimise project outcomes.
We were also able to deliver a technically demanding run of mine (ROM) bin and grizzly frame designed in Grade 900 quenched and tempered plate.
