Our brief
Inteforge was selected to provide the modularised preassembled units based on our strengths and capabilities in delivering fully integrated modules to the oil and gas sector. The project required commissioning of 15 modules for a gas gathering and compression station, which were preassembled to significantly reduce on site construction time and cost.
The solution
- Design of filtration vessels and quick-opening enclosures
- Global procurement and supply of critical equipment and pressure components
- Detailing and fabrication of pressure vessels, pipe spooling and structural steel
- Full structural, mechanical, piping, electrical and instrumentation (SMPE&I) assembly and pre-commissioning works
- Extensive liaison with the construction contractor, including integration of key resources into the project team in China during assembly and testing to ensure critical knowledge transfer to site
- Delivered to the project site in Chinchilla, Queensland, ahead of schedule
